The Biopharmaceutical Industry is characterized by high Technological Capabilities that allow it to develop new successful drugs. The competitiveness of this industry is determined by the capability of absorption, dissemination, and assimilation of knowledge.
In my thesis, I made a dissertation of these capabilities, then I reviewed the Pharma Industry in a global way, and all the actors that are involved in the value chain from the laboratory to the market, and I described the Mexican Biopharma Industry, its regulation, and the current policies instruments that promote the innovation in this Industry.
In order to encourage innovation for development and Mexico's capabilities in science and technology, on April 4th, 2018, Mexican expert consultants from Korean Development Institute (KDI), gathered with representatives from various areas of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN): as the Polytechnic Unit for Development and Business Competitiveness (UPDCE) and the Technological Development Unit TECHNOPOLI, with the objective of presenting the work that has been
developed with the KDI, within the framework of the Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP)
